ABOUT US

TeachSurg is dedicated to fostering a culture of scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and innovation among aspiring researchers and healthcare professionals. We offer a range of programs and resources designed to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge, skills, and tools to prepare students for medical school.

We offer internships, research projects, or collaborations with established researchers and institutions. These practical experiences allow students to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world settings, further enhancing their understanding of the research process and preparing them for future careers in medical research.

Be Curious.

SKILLS

Scott & Fredriksen (2022) found that extracurricular work experience, along with traditional practical training, was associated with increased confidence in performing emergency medicine procedures among medical students.

COMMUNICATION

Experiential learning methods have been explored in the context of teaching communication skills to premedical students. Koponen et al. (2012) compared three different experiential learning methods: theatre in education, simulated patients, and role-play.

RESEARCH

Exposure to research during medical education has been shown to positively influence students' attitudes towards research and their career choices (Amgad et al., 2015). Programs that provide opportunities for medical students to engage in research projects have been associated with increased interest in research and improved scientific productivity (Achi et al., 2020).

KNOWLEDGE

rofound knowledge refers to a deep and comprehensive understanding of the scientific principles, clinical concepts, and practical skills necessary for effective medical practice. It encompasses a broad range of knowledge areas, including basic sciences, clinical medicine, research methodology, and ethical considerations.
